All scissor prices include a full scissor service.
What is a scissor service?
My full scissor service includes the following:
Inspection of the full scissor
Dismantling the scissor
Cleaning of pivots, screws, washers and blades etc
Slow and gradual sharpening using the correct machines and techniques
Restore / repair of rideline and serration (if required)
Final polish or the blades edge
Final clean and check of the scissor before re-assembling
Full testing of scissor.
Each scissor service is a process and takes around 20-30 minutes per scissor.

Re-angle of blade: £4.50 (Correcting angles from previous services)

I accept payment via the following:
Cash, bank transfer, payment link.
*please note we do not accept AMEX.
*All bank transfer and payment links must be paid before collection.
*I don't carry cash so cash payments must be exact.
Please test your scissors at your earliest convivence, if you are unhappy with their performance contact me within 5 days of your service.
Damaged scissors:
Please understand that some scissors may not be serviceable if the blades or handles are severely damaged, often dropped scissors require re-aligning or bending of the handle. This can be very risky and could snap the blade or handles. I may politely decline scissors I don't feel comfortable repairing if I feel the damage is too excessive.
I cannot be held responsible for this kind of damage if I carry out a repair such as this as the scissor was already compromised by the damage.
